This Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions govern your use of https://voteyesonmeasurei.com/ (the "Site") and any related communications, including political text messages, operated by IE Moves - Yes on Measure I (FPPC #1490736C) (the "Committee," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or opting in to our communications, you agree to these terms.
We collect information you voluntarily provide when you endorse the campaign, sign up for updates, volunteer, contribute, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, mobile and home phone number, mailing address, ZIP code, and organization or title.
If you make a contribution, California law requires us to collect your name, address, occupation, and employer. We may also automatically collect technical information when you visit the Site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs, through cookies and similar technologies.
To communicate with you about Measure I, the campaign, and related civic matters by email, phone, text message, and mail
To process and record contributions and comply with campaign finance reporting requirements
To list your name or organization as an endorser, where you have given permission
To organize volunteers and events
To operate, analyze, and improve the Site and our outreach, including online advertising
To comply with legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of the Committee and others
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information as described below and in the Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising section:
With vendors, consultants, and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as web hosting, email and text delivery, payment processing, data management, and advertising
With organizations and campaigns that share our goals, subject to the text messaging restrictions below
As required by law, including public disclosure of contributor information in reports filed with the California Fair Political Practices Commission and local filing officers
If we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, or legal process, or is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Committee or others
Under California law, contributors of $100 or more in a calendar year are reported by name, address, occupation, and employer, and that information becomes public record.
The Site uses cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar technologies ("Tracking Technologies"), including Tracking Technologies placed by the third parties listed below. These third parties may collect information directly from your browser or device when you visit the Site. This may include your IP address, device and browser identifiers, pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and actions you take on the Site, such as submitting a form or starting a contribution. They may combine this information with information they collect from other websites and services, and use it under their own privacy policies.
Google Analytics (Google LLC) measures Site traffic and how visitors use the Site. Learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
StackAdapt (StackAdapt Inc.) delivers and measures campaign advertising across websites, apps, and streaming TV, including ads shown to past Site visitors. You can opt out at stackadapt.com/opt-out-of-sale-targeted-advertising.
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) delivers and measures campaign advertising on Facebook and Instagram, including ads shown to past Site visitors. Learn more in the Meta Privacy Policy, and manage your choices in Meta ad preferences.
Your consent. By using the Site, you acknowledge and consent to the use of these Tracking Technologies. You also consent to the third parties listed above receiving, recording, and using information about your interactions with the Site as described in this Policy. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie preferences tool on the Site.
Contact-list matching. We may give advertising platforms, including Google, StackAdapt, and Meta, hashed (encoded) email addresses or other contact information. We do this to show campaign messages to supporters or to people with similar characteristics. Mobile numbers and consent collected through our text messaging program are never used for this purpose.
Other ways to opt out. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative. On mobile devices, use your device's ad settings to limit ad tracking. Opting out does not stop all ads. You may still see campaign ads that are not based on your browsing activity. Opt-outs are browser- and device-specific and may be reset if you clear your cookies.
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard for these signals, the Site does not respond to them. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: when your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising Tracking Technologies on that browser. Third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, opt out of text messages by replying STOP, or contact us to update your information or request that we stop contacting you.
California residents may ask us to:
Tell them what personal information we have collected about them and how we have used and shared it
Delete or correct their personal information
Stop sharing their personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising
Under California Civil Code section 1798.83 ("Shine the Light"), tell them which third parties, if any, received their personal information for those parties' own direct marketing in the prior calendar year
To make a request, email info@voteyesonmeasurei.com or write to us at the address below. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Some information, such as contribution records, must be kept under campaign finance law even if you ask us to delete it.
